These forms help the estimator do the estimation in an orderly manner. An estimation form also ensures that all voyage operating costs are taken care of and nothing is left out.&nbsp;<br>Most estimation forms allow for a fixed amount to be deducted as fixed operating costs. A vessel\u2019s operating costs do not normally change very much and cover both running and capital costs.&nbsp;<br>An example of a voyage estimation form is shown below.
