Inward and outward clearance
Standard documentation required are:
- General declaration containing Name, description and Nationality of ship, Registry/Tonnage Particulars, Name and Address of the Agent, Brief description of Cargo, Last and the Next Port, Date and Time of Arrival and ETD, Name of the Master, No. of Crew Members and Passengers if any (5 Copies each on Arrival/Departure)
- Cargo declaration containing Name and Nationality of ship, Brief description of Cargo including Marks, Numbers, Kind of packages, quantity to be discharged in this port, Load Port, Next port of call where the balance cargo is to be unloaded, Name of the Master on arrival and Name and nationality of the ship, Brief description of Cargo including Marks, Numbers, Kind of packages, (signed B/L Copy) quantity to be discharged in this port, port of destination (4 Copies each on Arrival /Departure)
- Ships store declaration containing- 4 copies on arrival and 3 copies on departure- This is the basic document for arrival/departure providing information relating to ships stores and to include the bonded locker contents, to be signed and dated by master / agent.
- Crew list containing Number and the nationality of crew at arrival/departure-Name (Given and Family Names) /Rank/DOB and Age / Sex / Nationality / Identity card No / Port / date of Arrival signed by Master-4 copies on arrival and 2 at departure
- Crew personal effects containing, it is about the personal effect of the crew, standard format, to be declared and signed by them—signed below by the Master, usually about dutiable goods or prohibitions or restrictions in that Port/Country -2 copies on arrival only
- Passenger List similar to Crew list details, please mention, Port of disembarkation
